My favorite one is a toss up between Blaze of glory and Wanted dead or alive. The wife prefers Living on a prayer...an the other one I can't remember!

Now back to your regular posting.

Blacksteel or BS as I will now refer to you, the only load you have are ones I need waders to walk through.
As my dad says if you dont have something nice to say be prepared to pick up your teeth.

Wow touchy bunch . So much for telling the truth. I tore no one down. If you felt hurt I wonder why . Think and do bigger things. Scrap scales in my area have a twenty pound flux. (Most likely you lose ) Due to wind and ect. We are paid 10 $ per 100 lbs. Round about pricing per yard. Now tell me why yall are so grumpy. See the forest and the trees. Chill on that fake drama. It's not cute. I'm only talking business. That's why I drove to Cleveland and sold to ewasted. I get it done. My 8 ft bed was full . Ask e .

Im grumpy because ive only seen one post in which you didnt act like a complete arse. I get it done too but i dont place myself on a pedestal in the process and i dang sure dont tear down what other people do. if you want a fanbase this is the wrong business to be in, "metallic maniac". i redouble my vote for blacksteel to leave the island

If I send any message it is all things are possible if you will it and put in the work. I am a example. One man with god. I don't boast. I only speak good business. The load was good. We all hate empty vehicles. We can only learn from each other. I do. 1scrap.

Let's just go back to the original programming, or in this case, to NA's original post. In my mind, scrapping through the night and providing income to the family is the work of a true, honest, and wonderful couple. Congratulations for a great evening and a fine load!

One additional attaboy to lousypirate. Paying off those pesky school loans is as rewarding as a pickup load of copper! (Okay, maybe I exaggerated just a bit!)

YOU ROCK NA! I think we should take up a collection and put a webcam on your dash! boyyyyyyyyy would there be a few good youtube sensations. Of coarse, only the kooler puller club would get the unedited vids!

as far as some of the other comments, best I not say anything. BC and others have said it for me.

BroJer ... off to where the kool(er) people hang

Pick'm up doya...or I won't be your friend anymore. An yes..I finally got your page. lol. Next time just shine the cooler light in the air.

They are worth picking up. Last one I got had the alum an copper deal. I will surely pick them up anytime I see them. good hunk of wire with the cord, small bit of plastic, one I found was an oldie. Outside was a thin thing of metal.

An yes, another atta girl for NA. She gets it done that's for sure. Fiesty little scrapper that she is.

This is my opinion, a person that has been a member of the forum for 2 months should not be demeaning a member of three years. New is a fine lady that knew very little about scrapping when she first became a member and now is doing very well from what she has learned from this forum. Congrats on the good load and I'm wishing you many more.

NA, not only are you making money but it sounds like you truly enjoy scrapping, you have fun doing it. And the bounty, whether it be 1000lbs or 3000lbs is unimportant.
Keep on scrappin' cause there is nothing like enjoying your work, its not work when you enjoy it.

I discovered this about 4 years ago now, best pass-time-hobby-money maker I could have ever imagined. And always learning, thanks to the SMF and trial and error.

    Good on ya, NA.

You had a good nights work there! Had some quality time with hubby and made some significant money...what could be better? I admire your "get-er-dun" attitude where you wanted to finish your route, no matter what!! You put in a 9 hour shift so you deserved some extra weight...kinda like getting paid for the overtime!!

Hopefully you'll see more trips like this!! Also---keep telling us about them! Photos are fascinating!

    Jon.

Beverly Hillbilly's again this fine day! lol

Another full truck load from this route! WOOT!! 1300 lbs of steel this time. that hot water tank, it was only a 48 gallon tank but it was FULL of water, was all hubby and I could do to lift it into the truck.

It was the same as last week, get to my town (last town on route) and we are strapping on top of strapping and putting stuff behind seats and behind our backs as well, we had some aluminum door frames stuck behind us lol. Hubby kept getting poked with it when he'd get out and get back in.

Couldn't use the trailer, dad used it to haul the neighbors tractor and it got a flat tire so he drove it all the way home on a flat. I'm gonna get tubes for them before I use it again, the spare is good but the other side has a slow leak also.
