    Are we selling out

As I was paid $60 for some copper AL steel and a touch more
It hit me $60 was really fine for the small amount of space the metals took up .
YES we are being paid well for our work & metal . We cry about prices up down but really over all for now the market is great,
Yes if copper hits .75 AL .14 and so on AND if fiat currency stayed inflated that would be a bad situation. I feel a crash in commodity's will cause a drop in price for items we need .
The day our metals pay very little money and the cost of living even cost more. Then we are done. Thats what I fear, after all can hard working 3rd world class people get any good money for there pain.
For now we may very well be selling America's industrial wealth Lock Stock and Barrel .
How are our metals coming back to us from our over seas customers . Inferior with less metal and plastic.Did it ever occur we may get our metal back in guns and weapons. Wile USA contemplates copper bullets Lead bullets are produced for over sea arm's.

I need the money I scrap like you and it's easy to get happy with all the juicy finds we get . Some day the rug may get pulled from under our feet
As massive copper is being put into the market from defaulted loans backed by copper . That tells me
I see now us scrappers are riding the horse . We know the health of the economy day in day out. We see what we disassemble from the past and see HMM. what we dissemble now is not even old the stuff we dissemble from the past still works !! 1 year junk is broken.
Try to have a home appliance with out a factory warranty , You can't !
yet the 20 year fridge you pay no attention to still works.
    Yes lock stock and barrel
When some thing is to good to be true it's not.

Back to Bush years. The all time high then the all time low. The deportation of jobs and the importation of illegals. Who works your job now. All inside moves.

All you can do is hold on . Stay honest and be a good example of a self employed citizen. I work for the client. Not the money. Sticking together is stepping up and making things happen. Good things like ....help.
    Why. Thank you partner. 1scrap.

I just save cash gold silver and copper bullion and for any future down hill slides I sell what I can as fast as I can. even a torn up fridge that works still sells for an easy $20 as a worm fridge lol that's why I am always grateful because any given day at any time I can go out and drive around or get messy and dumpster drive and find money cause its everywhere and the harder you work the more you make.

No doubt once we learn the hunting tricks - $10 to $20 in the tank and go , yes it's out there . I am completely a scrapper no matter when , I always look for the items out for the take . It's a way of life , a system of thirst has created the way of life. As long as the system needs us it will continue . Time will tell , For now all of us scrappers help recycle metals like an army . I hope we are always needed .

"Those who do not learn history are doomed to repeat it."

Back 80 or so years ago we had electric trains running between Cities they called them Interurbans. Long story short a consortium of General Motors Standard Oil and Good year bought up the Interurbans and let them go to H#ll. Around 1939 out here they started tearing up the tracks and selling to the highest bidder. Took them right down to the waterfront and loaded them on Nippon Maru ships and in a few years we got all the steel back raining down on us.

I remember so many batches of fine runs of - short AL CU of course there is plenty out & there still.
    But it is not infinite
I see clearly we are scrapping out USA .
The system wants us to have paper money in banks .
Credit cards that own us .
    I wish I knew what I know now when I was 18 .

I'm a free public service. A example for extreme scrapping like cleaning waterways woods and elderly folk. The cash only helps expenses no profit. I don't capitalize I lead the way to thrifty living.

Boy scout motto . I will do my best to do my duty for God and country. ......

    I never forgot. I demonstrate.
