    One thing leads to another

I mostly have worked with scrapping steel, alum, wire type goods. But having learned form this forum how much value there can be in e-scrap, I have been trying to increase that area.
A couple of weeks ago, I went to a county surplus auction and bought three lot of computers and related equipment and spent $26 total for the whole group. (Works out to about $1/tower with everything else free.)

This week, one of the ladies who was working at that auction asked my wife if I would be interested in some more computers, as they had bought a portable classroom from a closed school and it had several units in it. We agreed on a price and today my wife & I went to pick these up.

The Volunteer Fire Dept. in that community is taking over the closed school, and a group of them were there cleaning up today. When we told them why we were there, the Chief said there was a room full in the building they were working on and I could have all I wanted.

The pictures attached are of my cargo trailer packed to the gills with the stuff we got. In excess of 60 towers, lots of other stuff, and several old Apple pieces that I think will do well to collectors.
The picture of the towers under the tarp are the original auction purchase that I have not yet broken down.

    One Hell of a day!!
