    did my first mobile home

So I just finished up with my first mobile home scraping adventure. Did a 60 footer with a few of my buddies and took us about two weeks. The reason it took so long is we were only there for about 2 hours a day. Didnt take that many pics but did get a few, it was mainly a learning experience but we had a lot of fun doing it and made a little money too.

Burning should be ok as long as your in an area that allows it and your not burning toxic material...ie wood.

I was going to say, isn't the wood similar to wood for housing, treated an all that?

Guessing not a good thing to be breathing.

Then again..I just make things out of wood, only time I do any burning is when I'm out camping under the stars. Love me a good ol'camp fire.

Unfortunately I didnt take any before pics but the last picture I think is from day two, lets just say it was hard to believe someone was living in it a few months before hand, it was a complete home though

I saw the top one after I asked. For some reason it didn't load with all the others.

Holy CRAP.. you are braver than I- I wouldn't touch that beast! WAY too much clean-up and mess to metal ratio-- but you had fun.. and made some duckets.. with buddies- so call it a WIN!

Thanks to for posting. Did you charge a fee for this demo or just do it for scrap value? 2 or 3 guys at a couple of hours per day, how much time total do you think you spent? Also, I wasn't clear on the disposal - did you burn wood and haul the rest (non recyclables)? If you hauled the rest, what was the cost and did you pay that or pass on to the owner / include in fee, etc.? Finally, did you use any heavy equipment to knock it down or move material or was it all manpower?

Sorry for all the questions, just very interested in this as I'd like to knock one out at some point but I want to cover my bases ....

    Thanks again for posting this.

Well get some cover cause like I said this was mainly a learning experience, however the owner was very helpful with using he cat to smash and load stuff. I did have to go to the dump, cost about 60 for everything I couldnt burn. In total we had somewhere around 40 to 50 hours I think but that could be cut down dramatically.
