Gota love it when someone calls or sends an e-mail for a pick up like that. That DC panel will have some very nice goodies in it. Post pics of the inerds for us. Good job!!

Here is a picture of the tools. Also a pic of some of the insides of the electrical box. I do not have it all the way apart. But seems to have a decent amount of wire. Some not so so thick but alot of it. And some very thick about a foot and half of it or so. Bout the thickness of a jumper cable. 3 or so pieces of the big stuff. It also has some copper 'plates' in it that make some of the connections. Either way it does have copper in it. Along with everything else I got. I am still happy. And as anybody else would say. I want more!

Cory see's this he could probably tell you if it was from a cell tower.

Hey Mudlight. I can't see a whole lot of that big machine, but I can tell that it's a rectifier, which converts alternating current (AC) to direct current (DC). That's why the lady called it a "DC panel." People are buying rectifiers by the company that made yours, Lorain, on eBay pretty regularly for $300-$500. I can't tell exactly what components and model numbers you have there, but you might want to google them and check for them on eBay if you haven't already. Those parts seem to be worth a lot of money.

Dang!! Ive sorta torn it apart. But I still have some good parts to it. I will look up the numbersof the parts that are still good. The thing is I do not know if it any of it works.

On eBay, even some of the parts seem to get big prices. The thing with the fan that you're holding in the 2nd picture, which I believe is part of the rectifier, can also be found there. Those industrial cases also get sold for crazy prices. You should do OK on this one! :-)

Well it will be coming inside then. I think I have done pretty good so far. Got me some free tools! I was needing a drill just the day before. Now I got it and then some.
