    Shoe scraping?

Hillary Clinton was speaking at a meeting of the Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries today and gets a shoe thrown at her. A new category for our buckets - SHOES.

In the next 2 1/2 years I think more than shoes and boots will be thrown! The stuff that hits the fan.

Not touching the political side of this, both are full of morons. Don't matter who takes office in 2 years, same crap, different president. it happened in 08, an before, an it'll continue happening. /end political sidemarks

IN other news...I herd she has mad ninja skilz! She dodged it like Jackie Chain an Bruce Lee!

An just cause this was partly about politics, time for another previously posted quote from my favorite person to quote...!

Sirscrapalot - Suppose you were an idiot, and suppose you were a member of Congress(or a politician in general); but I repeat myself. - Mark Twain Note - I added the stuff in ( )'s.

Actually she handled it like a pro! I personally go down the middle when It comes to politics. I detest being labeled and aligning myself with either party. It's like lambs going to be slaughtered. I do vote and have never missed an election since 1976.

    Noticed ya changed the avatar!

An yes..I hear ya. I feel we should always have a 'other' or 'none of the above' option when voting. Might finally let the idiots who do this for a living, catch on the majority of the people wouldn't vote for them if they didn't have to.

I think a block of wood would get more votes then either party if you put it on the ballot. Now wouldn't that be amusing!

It was the conversation about seashells and how I like exploring the beach. Never liked the cold snow, put me in the water - ocean, lake, river, creek, pool or just a good soaking in the tub - but give me water!

Shoes and boots sell for about .10# (used) around here, clothes for .07# and belts and purses .15#. Recycled shoes and clothes is nothing new. They have been doing sence the great deprestion.

I believe throwing a shoe at someone is a giant insult in the middle east. A sigh of disrespect, I believe? Please correct me if I am wrong. In America it seems weird. David

That is true, awhile back president Bush was in Iraq and had to dodge two shoes while talking to reporters.
