    SMF Member Map

(Not sure if this post is in right spot) I'm looking for local e-scrap buyers close enough to drive to, and have been looking through the buyer/seller forum one by one. Then I remembered the SMF Member Map, but again not much luck as most don't post there location, and there is no way to distinguish members that are buyers. Is it possible to create a map bubble that maybe has an "e" in it? Or even just a new color to denote buyers? Would be good if the sellers add/update there location, may help them get new business.

    Just a thought..

P.S. I'm in central NY, looking for place within 175 miles or so of Syracuse.

You'll likely have better luck going into the Buyer's and Seller's forum and using the "Search Forum" feature (type in New York, or NY, or wherever you'd like to search). It is located on the top bar of the two red bars. Right above all the thread listings.

    Hope this helps.

Yeah, I have searched plenty. Still most buyers don't put there information or addresses... Just a thought on an improvement.

EDIT: Also a seller in NY could be 3-5 hours away or there could be a buyer in northern PA or western MA that's 2 hrs. away.. hence a map view would be very helpful.

Most buyers have a Zipcode you can look up. And, there are some, that may be worth your while to check out, you can ship to.
