Had a new adventure today. Bought a car, Signed Papers, Traded Cash.. Get car part on the trailer and winch stopped spooling. Let it out.. car goes back to the ground, try to pull back up-- nada.. Wife says "Is there supposed to be a frayed end of metal wire in here?" (Inside the Winch Box)
Cable completely pulled off the spool at fastening point. How- I have no idea- winch line wasn't even close to being pulled all the way out. DANG!
So we were going to attempt to push it up onto the trailer- no dice with her and I. Couple neighbors came by and offered to help.. We got it! They said "Man it's Beer:30 time" I said "What do you drink" They told me "Magnum 40's" I said "I'll get you both one" Liquor store is about 3 blocks from the pickup spot.
Strapped the car down- straight to the liquor store.. grabbed the "40's" and dropped em off to the guys waiting on the porch.
Ahh.. Life of a scrapper!
