Well weird RAM.. never seen either of them.. Two were Kingston 128 sticks
Second two were really weird.. they have markings but don't seem to state what they are.. Here are the numbers on them:
    (GZ) KALEX3 K688
    94V-0 400 1
    3132.2.4
    051
    60687D
    T20
    With a backwards LR stamping.

Usually they are right on there so even a noob like me knows what they are.. have no idea what its size is of the stick
I'm so into scrapping.. When my Steel Toe Boots Wear out, I cut the Steel out of them and recycle the Toe!

    That one is an oddball.

The case looks like something from the early - mid 1990's.

The board, hard drive, and ram like something from the early 2000's.

See the on/off button on the front ? Look behind that and see if there's a heavy 120 volt wire running back into the power supply. That kind of setup is pretty old. The newer boards use a micro switch on the front.

I'm left wondering if it might have been a refurbish where they used an old case and re-fitted it with a newer board,HDD, and so on.

There might be some dates of manufacture on the case, Main board, Hard drive, floppy drive & CD drive.

Someone had written on pen on the case "OK" and the stickers for the OS and the Pentium 4 looked to have been peeled off something else. So I'm guessing it was a rehab for certain!
What an ugly body to put all those goodies in eh?
I tried to take a pic of the P4 that was in it- but my camera on my phone is so bad it was horribly blurry. Didn't figure you all needed to see it with a bad pic.

Someday I'll run across one of these oldies with a good chip in it

Ohh boy .... i know i'm gonna catch the Di*kens from somebody for not preserving / reselling but i ran into a couple of oldies yesterday. One was a Tandy 2100 model 10 and the other a Leading Edge. They probably dated to somewhere around 1992.

I've never seen a "soldered in" i 486 processor on a main board before.

< Gentle laughter > One had a hard drive that had a 214 MB capacity. It might have been cutting edge technology back in the day.

They were well enough designed but they are more work to tear down than the newer ones.

Had a new adventure today. Bought a car, Signed Papers, Traded Cash.. Get car part on the trailer and winch stopped spooling. Let it out.. car goes back to the ground, try to pull back up-- nada.. Wife says "Is there supposed to be a frayed end of metal wire in here?" (Inside the Winch Box)

Cable completely pulled off the spool at fastening point. How- I have no idea- winch line wasn't even close to being pulled all the way out. DANG!

So we were going to attempt to push it up onto the trailer- no dice with her and I. Couple neighbors came by and offered to help.. We got it! They said "Man it's Beer:30 time" I said "What do you drink" They told me "Magnum 40's" I said "I'll get you both one" Liquor store is about 3 blocks from the pickup spot.

Strapped the car down- straight to the liquor store.. grabbed the "40's" and dropped em off to the guys waiting on the porch.

    Ahh.. Life of a scrapper!

After you have been around the forum for a while.. you will no doubt see comments about "Cord Cutters"
So if you are new to this scrapping thing.. I'm going to start my schooling session for you. Today a small dose of "CurbCo 101"

I stumbled upon this on the Curb Today:

And I noticed that someone got there before me.. they snipped the cord and said "Ha Ha Ha He He He" and drove away.

But I got to have the good laugh of the day.. for what was inside and a mere 10 minutes of work.. yielded me much more $ than that cord cutting Jerk!

Each spring the bigger town next to me has a selected neighborhood clean-up. This past spring it was in my SiL's area which is a bit lower socioeconomic in nature. The first time I could get over there was the last hour or so of light on a Sunday with my car. Found lots and lots of items with cords cut. Like you, still got the last laugh on a number of them like old heavy stand up lamps and fans. I suppose if this guy cut every cord he found in the various piles working his way up and down the streets he could probably pick up 3-5 pounds a side @ .65 a pound. Still missing out on a bunch of stuff...

Ok well someone posted a thread about kiddos being involved with our scrapping.
My Son exclaimed "This is a Major HAUL- you're going to be RICH"

He helped me unload it all. I have round #2 tomorrow.
    Truck was FULL!

Also got some goodies in this load:
    Arc Welder
4 and 10 ton body puller jack kits
    Bunch of Short Steel.

Still have to go through all of it!
