Determine never to be idle. No person will have occasion to complain of the want of time who never loses any. It is wonderful how much may be done if we are always doing.

Well Even on a first glance of thing while putting into the truck. I have to say that sadly most of this "stuff" is junk. You can see in the pic with my son (Swagman) two bottle jacks- neither work
Have a huge floor jack- doesn't work

You guys are going to freak.. but this is the storage bay of my recently passed "Body Shop Guy" The landlord was owed money.. family refused to pay what they owed.. he did his 30 days post-formal-notice and came to visit me yesterday and said "You can have all of it- I need the bay cleaned out"

Today I have to get to:
    A Battery Charger (on wheels)
    An auto body pull dozer
    Engine/Transmission Stand
And a few other goodies to get to.

This guy packratted EVERYTHING.. I SWORE I'd find a few Computer Towers from 1985 in there- sadly nada- just and just 4 bubble monitors. Got to snag the cords off of em and those GOOOOOLD connectors! CHING!

Ok so Day #2 of the cleanout. This load looks "lighter" but it is because there are a lot of goodies that I did not want to get destroyed piling.
    In this Load their is:
    Engine Stand
    Body Dent "Pull Dozer"
A MAC Battery Charger that works.

Most of the rest is scrap.. But wanted to be sure those goodies stayed fine as wine.
Have at least 1 more load- possibly 2 or 3.

Garage is packed.. wife already commented.. looks like that plan to hold steel to spring is a bust.. but at $180/ton right now. Won't get hit too hard!

Finally Done with ALLLLLLL the breakdown. Anything with a cord.. I figured would have a board in it. New to trying this E-scrap thing.. And I got a bucket of boards.. some good.. some mid-grade?

*EDIT* Ahh.. Learning Fast.. Low Grade for the most part. Stripped off the goodies (Transistors, Alum Heat Sinks etc) and into shred pile! Bummer. Did get a few goodies.. but about 5% of that bucket were green/green goodies.

Usually his "part" of the duty is "How much do I get for helping?"

Isn't that always the question? My 9 year old helped me with a little bit (20 minutes, tops) of separating prior to a yard run. She still insists that I owe her $32, since of course, I was paid $84 for that load and only gave her $10.

If ya don't mind me posting a pic on your thread, Sledge, here's what I was given today. That's the third load like that from a Radio Shack in 2 months. Seems like schools update often and just throw everything else out the door. Free for the taking. Now if you were here, we could learn together. I'll buy lunch.
