    So how was your Saturday/weekend?

Got up early, for a book show here on the sandbar, an the wife wanted to hit some yard sales, an who am I to argue.

Anyhow..scored great the book sale, several hardbacks for 5 bucks. Ha! Then went looking for yard sales an make some magic happen. I found a yard sale, an no scrap. I did get a pair of Cobalt Klines for .50 I felt bad getting such a good deal, I gave the old lady a buck. **** near like new, a buck well spent. Also got another circular saw for my wood working, for 2.00, again a fair deal I thought.

Now I'm bout to head to the store, grab food for the grill, ice for the cooler, some good strong beer, an sit my happy butt outside strip some wire while watching the grill, an sipping a cold one. An I'm going to do the same thing tomorrow, as I got the sister in law an niece coming to visit. Always a good excuse to cook out.

So...from my sandbar, that's rather warm at 75 today with clear blue skies, I hope you all had a good Saturday, and/or weekend.

I may not be rich in money an such, but **** if I'm not rich in every other aspect of life.

Started at 4am loading the truck up with my copper, aluminum, brass and low grade circuit boards. Got back home and loaded 940 pounds of shred in my ranger and went to a different yard. Made some good money but I'm to tired to enjoy this sunny 79 degree day. I done for the day.

Spent the morning trying to find a shop that will do an emissions test on my truck, hung around, went to grab some groceries and now just waiting for my girlfriends friend and her boyfriend to get here, gonna eat some burgs and have a few brews. First BBQ of the year! Couldn't be happier!

Went to the yard first thing in the morning , made $130 , prices are so down but whatever . I went to the middle school two blocks over from me because the womens club was having a Indoor garage sale. I then saw how many people were there in such a small space and then my anxiety got to me and I went home. When I got home I unwinded some christmas lights off of some mini trees. I then watched some american pickers . Then I went down to the basement and listed some dishwasher racks and stuff on ebay as I listened to music

About 70 today but supposed to get 4-8 inches of snow tomorrow.

Spent most of the day pulling nasty Juniper bushes to make room for the wife's garden. Winch on the car hauler helped with the task.

Need gone ASAP!

Slow day after a tough week. Drove my daughter to a babysitting job, did a week's worth of laundry and a sink full of dishes. Did get to break down a bunch of TVs too.

Got up, sold a crib for $100 that I got in a storage unit, then broke down some mitel telecom equipment in the garage. After that took that $100 and went to a food truck fest, had some fried ravioli, some cuban donuts, some crawfish poteet (or something like that), gyro pita and best of all a couple sliders, one was made with goat cheese and strawberry jam which was ok but the best was "The Nutty Pig" - angus beef, bacon, peanut butter lettuce and tomato. That was surprisingly good. Was a really nice day out in dallas, although it has been a bit windy.

Chartered two boats and took my wife, kids, and their significant others out into the Gulf of Mexico. Had a ceremony to lay to rest the ashes of a recently deceased loved one, then, as per her instructions, fished away the rest of the day. Beautiful weather, a somber ceremony, then some so-so fishing. Caught the first bonita of my lifetime in a wonderful five minute battle.

Vacationing on a sandbar a couple hours south of Sir. Great day on the beach. Everywhere I go I see some scrap but I'm in wife's BMW. Oh well. Saw many dolphin today. Seems like a pro dominantly redneck town, but the biggest , nicest beach houses I've seen.

70ish here today, went to work, stopped at a friends on the way home, scored a heater core and small electric motor, almost home 1 gallon gas can laying in the middle of the road, scored that with about a pint of gas left, went to another friends, bought batteries and scored some free wire and copper pipe. now finishing up breaking down things from the local spring clean up. A good saturday indeed! Tomorrow i'm slated to buy some computers and junk battery packs.

I bought tools today too, SirSaL! Some new Klein wire strippers, a Wiha power screwdriver (a little low-torque thing for computers), some other odds n ends, and -- the deal of the day -- a precision screwdriver set with a whole lotta chrome/vanadium steel bits for about $10. They're pretty, too:
