    Very possible very big score!

I got an email a month ago from a business man stating that he had a medium mail out company being ran out of a house. He let his friend run it for 15 years. His friend has passed and apparently did not throw anything away for 15 years. Here is some exact text from the first email.

"The house is full of old computers, monitors, and printers scattered everywhere. I am thinking one regular size room will not hold all of the equipment. An employee will be sent over to put all of the equipment in one place and I am sure it will be a day long job.

Are these items you are interested in?" uhhhhh of course!

Again I got this email about a month ago. I sent a couple emails since then. But thought it was a no-go. While at work I got a call from his assistant I was unable to answer the call but heard the voicemail. She wants to schedule a time to look at the equipment. So I will call her first thing in the morning to schedule that. Based on the email it sounds like it may be a good bit of older stuff. But a room full of any kind of computers, monitors and printers will be fine with me. Also I am pretty sure I will get it for free. I may rent a uhaul. I need my first big whale! Of course I will follow up on here and hopefully soon, with pics. I know I'm gonna get the stuff. Just cant wait to see what it is.

I just got off the phone with his assistant. She said there is a bunch of printers. Big and small. I guess regular ones and some copiers and stuff. She said there about 4 monitors. She said "those big rack things full of computer components". And quite a few boxes of computer components, some phones and tvs. So maybe not quite as much as I expected but still sounds good. She mentioned the house being cleaned out of other stuff. I told her I can also take all appliances and metal sort of items. Which she said there is some of that. I am gonna have to rent a uhaul to do this in one trip and one day. But based on what I have heard I think I will get my money back. So Sunday expect pictures.

Well it may not be a whale after all. I got 2 pictures of the room via text. What I saw wasn't exactly what i imagined after reading the emails and talking about it over the phone. Either way I am gonna get the stuff. I Just don't believe it will be as good. And kochy I do have SUV that I call a truck, with a trailer. But it is not a pick up truck. Which is what I really want. I also will not ever post a thread again before actually receiving a whale.

A special quote just for you...

We must accept finite disappointment, but never lose infinite hope. - Martin Luther King, Jr.

Keep the faith, maybe when you get there it'll be as you pictured/herd it on the phone! One fish leads to many fish, even if not a whale.

I see now what I said. I am gonna post more threads. Just not a 'whale' thread without having obtained it yet. I am still happy to have a pickup scheduled as well as excited about it. I will still post pics also!

I feel your pain. I have had customers contact me about a "huge" load of material. I ask them is it enough to fill the trunk of my car, my pick up truck or do I need to bring a big truck. Funny how often it comes down to a trunk load. Keep hitting it and you will succeed. Mike.
