I'll post a pic of mine later but I'll have to find it first.
In the Dakota's, buys have the most heat and the gals have the biggest sink. Do I have win? Sorry could not resist.
I have a small radio sized one . Like the size of a microwave popcorn box .
*Dumps out heat sink bin. ****, I remember having a 4" x 4" x 12" heat sink. Cant remember what it came from right now, but It must have went with my last load to the yard.
This is the biggest I currently had in my bin. It's all aluminum and weighs 1.5 lbs.
This is a pic of my guitar amp. They can have pretty good size heat sinks.
Buys was my Jamaican experience coming out.
No one is even close yet. lets get a few more and bigger, much bigger. then Ill show you a real heat sink.
I used to take my rides and games to Jamaica in the winter. The Jamaicans can't gamble in their own casinos. so they gamble on the carnival games, when they lose, which was often they had two favorite phrases. 1. you never goina leave the island buy. 2. you gonna leave the island in a pine box buy. Just a little of some of my adventures.
Did a IBM Mainframe couple of years back...There were a total of 8 of these processors that were sandwiched in 23 pound copper heat sinks.
Aluminum heat sinks from the same Mainframe. The 3 that are sitting side by side on the board weighed 1 pound each and the large one's weighed 5 pounds each with 1 pound bricks of aluminum underneath. Bricks still need to be cleaned up before being turned in but the total for the others ended up being 80 pounds.

The heat sink is extruded alu and measures 16 3/4x 15 3/4 x 1 3/4. I came from a 36 volt charging unit that keeps the back up power supplies charged in a bank of blade servers.
new it cost $36,000 the power cord is 5' long and weighs 16+ lbs.
The main power cord to the server bank is 25' long and weighs over 40 #. new this cord Is $5000 + made in Bulgaria under the IBM brand, The cord connectors are over $600 and $800 respectively
I have three charging units, three unit power cords, and 6 IBM 25 " main power cords with connectors.
