    Craigslist Score!!!

Finally I was the quickest to answer a Free ad on CL. 20 mile drive there and back, definitely worth it. Outer shell of an oven,2 batteries, 2 towers, an HDD with a cooler on top of it, 5 or 6 disc Alpine CD changer for a car, aluminum wheelchair, stainless faucets, numerous brass doorknobs and keys, some aluminum trim plates, baskets, and some random wire. And a few free buckets!! Sorry for hard to see pics, sun was setting and I wanted to get it out and somewhat sorted.

Brass on left, stainless on right

More brass that was sitting in water so I'm letting it dry out

Thanks KZ. He was going to scrap it all himself but his truck died so he was trying to sell it and wanted all of this gone. Best part is that 90% of it is already broken down!!

Some of my trim pieces for my doorknobs ended up being brass colored stamped tin.

I got one, and it was just luck.

1/2 mile from work, and I caught the ad in the first 5 minutes of it being posted.

Aluminum siding, some shred, and a snowblower.

nice baskets! I'd use those to store stuff. I hate boxes --- cannot ever see what's inside. I try to make notes on the outside of the boxes. Of course, I do a lot of used car parts, too

Free craigslist ads go quickly in my area as well. Was able to get one last week and was able to grab two tvs, some misc. small appliances, and a pair of aluminum crutches.

I always reply to the CL ads telling people what I take even if it is not in the listing specifically. They may have some extra stuff laying around that they never thought anyone would want. You might not get that listing but you could get other scrap or a new contact.
