    Just a little update

I think I'm up to $2000-2500 for the year in buying/selling/scrapping. Have a lot to bring in, process, and sell. I'm hoping to move into this new house without having much to process/sell.

I also think I'm around $8000 in parting out my old dodge and my off road truck. Haven't ran the numbers in a couple weeks.

Just bought a house! Built in 1935, and it's awesome. The wife likes it too.

It's gonna need a bigger garage. a detached small 2 stall, and a small detached 1 stall haha.

Congratulations! You are off to a great start. Sweet house -- and lots of room for garage expansion!

    3/4 acre is all.

Great starter home, it butts up against the highway, so I'm curious about advertisement to help pay for a pole barn. Lol

    The cleanout has begun!

I brought about 45 lots to auction yesterday, brought in a quick load of $142
in mostly shed today... think I have another 2-3000# to bring in next week... with more nonferrous.

Loading up to bring another few lots to a different auction saturday morning.

Mortgage is in processing, Home inspection tomorrow afternoon. Going to the dirt track races tomorrow night (weather permitting)

I can honestly say I'm a busy man right now. There are some other things going on behind the curtains, but I'll keep that cat in the bag for now

    Closing next week eek!

Ended up hauling in another $400, and still have another load of shred to go.

Sold off $700+ in profit that's coming to me from local auctions.

Bringing a load across state before I go visit my fraternity brothers this weekend.

I can now see the floor of my garage.

This has been one of the most hectic months I've gone through yet. More hectic than the wedding last November. Between the house, in process of getting a new job as the lead engineer for their foundry, my great grandma passing away, and my grandpa getting rediagnosed with cancer in his bladder, you can say that my head probably isn't on straight anymore.

    Keep pushin.

closing got pushed back a few weeks.

Septic report failed, but it looks like the seller's are gonna pony up and get me a new system. schweet.

Hauled another lump of scrap in the meantime. I have one more decent sized load to take in, then I'm done until we are settled in the new house... unless I come across a deal I can't refuse

    FINALLY CLOSED ON FRIDAY.

Looks like I should be getting possession by Sunday. Already back to bidding on stuff from auctions WEE.

Let's see how long it takes the wife to find out.

Spent the last two nights there, finally out of my rental. Working on shortening the honey do list in time to get my workshop set up for the winter.

I'm betting my wood heat will be much better for cost than my propane heat last winter.
