Had a guy call and said he had a bunch of computers (maybe 10?) and wanted to know how much they were worth. I told him I would pay $4 each and pick them up. He said it wasnt worth it and would take them to the dump instead.
Let that sink in for a moment....
edit: he was responding to my CL ad, which I've since pulled because too many knuckleheads out there

Yeah, and I wonder if they can balance a check book or do a single W-2 1040EZ tax return? Probably not.
You should have called his bluff and asked, "when are you going to the dump, I want to watch you throw $40 in the trash heap along with whatever it cost to get into the place." I'll bet those 10 puters will be sitting in his garage in another month or so...

I always like the one when they tell you they are going to try to refine it themselves.........A week later they show up with a load of boards wanting me to weigh their material
