    new to scrapping? on approx worth

    Anyone ever took in a old playground slide? Its 18ft long stainless steel. I wonder what least id make on it would be

    Depends on if it's clean SS or if it has regular bolts attached, if it has reg. bolts then the yard will call it dirty and pay about 1/4 of what it's worth.
    SS usually runs about .45 -.60 a lb.

    If you do scrap it, maybe you have a buddy with a torch that can make the bolts go away.
    Currently looking for a job in or related to scrap/recycling. Relocation is possible for the right offer.
