China is on the verge of a middle class larger then USA as a country .
Rumor has it China is Hording ALL metals . The Chinese government is also encouraging citizens to

India is following that direction

It's an interesting concept China is buying more metals then needed yet is continuing in converting of the worlds fiat moneys into hard assets. Common sense you know all countries BUY "Made in China goods " China has money to burn So they convert much to hard assets

Today at the yard I saw of the reality . scrap yards nationwide are
a selling force of our metals that will be written about some day in the future
.America is selling off the hard work of our past , you know the easy metals not under ground , The deep storage type
Must be in abundance still ???
the recycled short steel & more like little nuggets of gold we harvest for our customers



What I am sure of is , when the game is over the scrapper with the nasty looking truck
Who hunts by any means and finds with the reality that the metals are still there

We labor hard , like a rice field worker
We bend over our work for hours
we will know before any one else
when the game is over

Copper, I am impressed by your scrapping mentality, so much more than just ''get some stuff and turn it in.'' You go way beyond the norm.

Your prices - wow! They aren't that high by me, copper is still around @2.30 lb and AL is .45 lb. Steel even came down a penny a lb this week by me.

Re: ''hard work of our past'', you're right and is that a good thing or not? Will that take away future jobs when the hording is complete of the past objects? Or will it be a good thing and leave future generations the work for the underground metals when recycling no longer can carry the load?

Right now I don't think the game is over but one day I know it will be.
