Taking a tv and computer monitor to Best Buy for recycling. On the way I pull into the local 'Stop & Rob' for a soda. Come back out and the monitor has been stolen. Well, I hope they have a good time with it, since it is missing the power cord, circuit boards, degaussing cable, copper yoke, wiring, and speakers.

Had the same thing happen to me years ago, my big old heavy 30 inch tv quit, I put it in the back of my truck and was sitting at the kitchen table, when some guy scooped it out of the truck and was heading down the back lane with it LOL. This happened before the days any of it was being recycled.

I;m making a 'Tool board' for my workshop.

Using only broken & damaged tools, with a second wall behind it with the real tools on it. No point in getting my good tools stolen & the insurance payout will be worth the time.

I used to keep a 50" plasma downstairs (broken), with a dead dvd player and a fried xbox 360 next to it...all hooked up like it worked.

Figured by the time anyone broke in and loaded all that the neighbors would see them or they would be too tired to walk upstairs.
