    Stolen from my trailer

Sorry about *****ing, but I just need to vent a little bit!!!

Some low life cord cutter snipped a 50' cord (extension cord type) on a floor buffer that was on my trailer. Unsure of exactly when it happen, but I'm pretty sure it was there when I went to the yard this morning. If so, then it either happened at the yard or when I stopped for lunch. This is getting crazy when people steal stuff off your trailer in broad day light or steal stuff from the yards when they are open. Is it really that hard for them to go find stuff on their own!!

No, just cutting yours was easier for them, thieves can be lazy sometimes.

I had a dude eyeballing my truck and trailer outside 7-11 one day when I was loaded up a couple of months ago.

I wasn't really worried I figure he may have been waiting for me to ask about picking up scrap.

As soon as I got outside the store and walked toward my truck he jumped in his truck and squealed the tires and took off in a huge hurry.

I don't think he was trying to rip me off as I had large items on my trailer-stoves, hot water heaters, ect.

Strange the way people behave sometimes.

I think it happened at the yard. I had some people staring at the trailer and they were very busy yesterday. Had to wait in line about 25 minutes to get paid.

I seem to be getting more and more annoyed at thiefs posing as scrappers. Was at a yard this week and 2 guys come in pushing a shopping cart that was loaded. They unload heavy brass pipe, wires still hanging out of some of it. Had over 50 pounds of this. They had 2+" brass fittings and valves with steel attached. Also had a bunch of copper. Found out that they supposedly get this stuff from abandoned buildings. Also found out that at least one of them has been arrested for stealing once before. I think its time for all yards to start paying all transactions by check to make it a little more difficult for these people.
