    Christmas Lights

I read on here about how you can sell old christmas light sockets and bulbs for replacements. But, do you leave any wire sticking out of the socket when you cut it off, or cut as close as possible?

I may be wrong, but I don't remember anyone selling sockets, just the bulbs.

It's the larger bulbs that sell the best for me.

I've looked at a bunch of threads, and still don't really know. I don't know if I'm supposed to clip them off sockets and all, or unscrew the bulbs for resale?
