    Hello! And now to business...Anyone in Miami area buying e-waste?

    Lurked for the last year, and registered last month. Very diverse and informative group here.
    Yesterday I took a load in and was pleased to get a little more than the phone quote for my material. I was also able to talk with the owner who informed me that he doesn't buy e-waste because his clients don't bring him enough to make it worth his while.?! He knows the PM's that computers and other boards have as he is 2nd generation owner. I asked if anyone on the river was buying any e-waste and he knew of none, he only handled a Bahamian customer that sent a trailer load and he forwarded the material on. Suggestions please...

    start an ewaste recycling company and see if you can land the yard as a client.

    Well that's why I do very little with e-waste, there is no strong buyer in the South Florida Area, there are many that claim they buy e-waste and they do,,,,,,but they want to buy it for the price of tin, So my advise to you is check out the buyers/ sellers treads on the forum, the river only has a couple of real buyers for non ferrous, most just buy and resell to the couple of legit company's proceed with caution my friend.
