    Gravitar's First Scrap Car

Howdy everyone! Well the Craigslist gods gave me the goods today! After hauling in a couple loads, I decided to take it easy the rest of the day and just check the free section on Craigslist. After a while, I see an ad for a free 1992 Camero right down the road from me at the oil change place I take my truck to. I was the first guy there and got all of the scrap. It's funny, while I was there checking it out the guys phone was going off the hook with calls, it was crazy. Anyway, with a little red-neck engineering, we were able to drag it to the RV storage place next door to store it in my grandparents RV slot. Here is what I got, with more scrap to come later on.

Yep. I think the game plan at this point is to cut it up into managable peices and haul it to the yard. Hopefully we will have two saw-zalls going at the same time. I'll update y'all with pics as this thing gets scrapped out. Should be a fun project.

Ok, update time! I sold this thing off today for $250 with non ferrous along with about $80 in Uhaul trailer rental and gas. Splitting that between me and my friend, we each walked away with around $85. We still have two aluminum rims to cut the tire off of, so that will bring in another 30-40 bucks. If I were to do this again, I would haul it streight to the yard without pulling the harness out of the dash and take off the good stuff when there like the rims. Im just glad that we made money and now I know that I can scrap cars with little issue. Sorry, no pics. Just imagine the car with no doors and full of bikes. lol
