Took a load in the other day- nothing exciting 520# shred. On the way ho,e I saw a CL freebie for 14 laser printers. Called the guy and someone beat me to them by just a few minutes. D*mn! - would have been a nice intro to escrap for me. Bet the guy is on SMF too.

Been really slow lately. Curbco doesn't pan out well in this area and my appliance connection has been slow as well. Going to have to start getting aggressive I guess.

My yard allows it, yours may not.

Not the answer you wanted I'm sure, but..it's the best I got.

Took a small load of mixed ali to the yard to test the waters. Seperated it by cast, sheet , extruded and radiator. Scaleman said they but it all as clean ali @ sheet price of .51# . Is that fairly normal?

They offered clean alum price for all of it? I'd say it's ok. My yard doesn't have 50 million classes of metals. Alum is alum unless it's cast, which is less then clean alum..Heh. Same with stainless, it's either stainless or it isn't. No 45 thousand classes of stainless.

When do we get shots of the brew?

My cooler is always open to new beverages.

My yard threw my extruded in with the "old sheet" at .55 or .60 lb and when I mentioned something about it, the scaleman called the manager out and he said it was because I was the only smart one to separate the different alum's. They have 3 categories, old sheet and cast/diecast and of course alum cans.

Been kinda slow lately but that's good cause there's lots of crap I need to do around the house before winter. Also working on my first ad and biz cards.

Broke down an exercise bike and found this copper band around the flywheel - weighed in at just over 10oz.

Thanks for the info. I've got one I was going to take in with my shred tomorrow. I'll check the flywheel first now.

    600# of shred....

Picked up a bunch of appliances and this gem....

I plugged it in and it works great - to craigslist you go! I got the matching washer too but it has issues so to the yard you go!

Well, you know how it is. When the washer goes bad you have to replace them both. You cannot keep the dryer just because it still works great. After all, they wont match...

Shhh...don't tell anyone. Mine don't match.

Too many buttons on that dryer.

I like things simple...fluff it or shrink it.
