    Ummm....looks like a SUPER SCORE!!!!

so one of my account that owns a dry cleaning business called and asked if I would take a commercial air compressor...I generally only do ewaste, but I said SURE (they had a few other things as well).....WELL, it turns out it was a 900 POUND compressor...a QRS-15 by Chicago Tools....well of course I sk what happened to it...they said an electrical fire...I look at it and if there WAS a fire, it wasn't much of one. It was a BOOGER to get to my shop...took 3 of us to move the **** thing around....

I have a buddy that is coming to look at it that works on similar machines...going to offer a cut if he can fix whatever all is wrong with it. Here's the kicker....new they sell for $10K!!! Used and working about $6K!! HOLY BEJESUS....even if not economical of fix (which I am betting it will be)...the PARTS price alone should be over $1K MINIMUM!!!!! AGAIN HOLY CRAP!

And yes, I do know them and I know they just made an insurance claim since they needed the shop to be back up and running, so it is not stolen or something LOL...otherwise I would have been SUSPICIOUS and required all sorts of stuff from someone....

Take a look at this thing!

yeah was thinking about that...BUT I kinda need the money more than the big old compressor...and I really deal in ewaste 90% of the time, so do not really need something that big....all will depend on he "fix it" price...I could always fix it, get paid and hen spend SOME of the money on a smaller unit which makes more sense for me and pocket the rest of the $$$ for say a ram tester like ramcheck....THAT would allow me to start buying untested memory on here and probably making more money over 6-8 months than keeping it would allow...LOL

Hory Schlit! That is one bad MoFo.. Can't believe it is only 150 psi max.. but more than enough to run any air-tool you can throw at it.. and run it for DAYS without it kicking back on again. HA!
I'm so into scrapping.. When my Steel Toe Boots Wear out, I cut the Steel out of them and recycle the Toe!

That's a beast for sure. If you part it out, find a metal guy to cut that tank and make yourself a big old smoker!
