Does your truck ride low
Does it wobble to and fro
Can you find another spot
To put another load
Can you throw a strap over your shoulder like a continental soldier
Does your truck ride low? !?

No,no,yes, yes,no. .but I do get a weird tick sound or a electric strain sound sometimes when I accelerate . I'm due for some maintenance and rotors 2 tires . Been keepin a eye on my tran fluid and oil lvl . Prob best to get it taken care of sooner or later
If you wobble to and for you may loose a wheel .
lol. wobble could also be from the front end being in the air
Yes
Two bad bearings on the front of the truck. cast iron in the back.

i know this started off as a joke, but i was looking for a section to see how people manage their profits and put aside for the extra maintenance sometimes needed from scrapping. over the past 2 months i have 1)had 2 new struts on front, 2)new tires all around. Lots of nails in places i use to pick up at. (managed to nurse the tires for 3 months before finally buying new ones) regular oil change, and new starter put on. Still need to get struts put on the back, and sometime before end of year i think i will need new wheel bearings lol.
The thing that really notice is the tires going out faster with the extra miles, and the increased importance on the suspension work that can keep the tires lasting longer.
What percentage do you all put aside for your WORK ( i use my car for scrapping) vehicle that is specifically because of your scrapping?
^^ 99, I don't put aside I just fix as I go along. I buy used tires now, after buying 4 new and wearing them out FAST and running over nails I said never again! I've replaced most everything on the truck, springs on both sides, rebuilt the rear end, BRAKES! and seems like extra oil changes too! Oh and the new starter the other week back. Serpentine belt too.
