Just known as armoured cable in the UK - The biggest i came across was 5 inches in diameter - Stripped with a snap-off 'razor' knife.
Sadly it was whey long ago when 'bright copper' was £900 a tonne ($1500 or so) -
Think it came in at about £500 - now would be near £2000 - Still not bad for half a days toil.
British - If i knew then what i know now - would never have learnt anything or had so much fun
