    Any certain specs I would need on the burner to make it able to melt lead?

    I have used this style for it Amazon.com: Toastess THP-517 Electric Single-Coil Cooking Range, Stainless Steel: Electric Countertop Burners: Kitchen & Dining.

    As far as all the worry abut lead is to not let it get hot enough to boil off. you can use a torch too, but I think that would be harder.
