Depends. its kinda scattered with me lol. Usually I spend it on bills (food, gas, repairs, utilities) but always keep some aside for trips out with mom - out to eat, haircuts, shopping trips, coffee and ice cream. Other times it seems dad is calling me saying ''I'm outta gas!'' and I go fill up his cans. Next week I'm getting tires so there goes last weeks profits!
I don't splurge on anything other than necessities and some fun time with mom generally.
Scrapper, Scrap Yard Worker, Horse farm worker, Cooler Puller and just plain ''tired''
I have a bad craft beer habit - both buying and brewing. Much of my $ goes to that.
Gasoline, beer, rent, beer, vehicle maintainace, beer, gasoline. Prepaid phone card.
Life in general but usually try and buy more scrap with scrap money, along with one or two new tools/devices if required, do some maintenance on the truck/toys and just keep on truckin' hoping one day it will all pay off.
It covers a multitude of things for me. I try to keep the little drawer in the kitchen stocked with enough cash to pay the lawn guy. It of course pays for gas.
It helps feed my vaping hobby, but that pretty much pays for itself since I don't buy cigarettes any more.
Other than that, most of it goes back into making more money. Currently looking for a bigger, better and safer trailer. My current trailer has high walls, but it is too thin. The magnet at the yard can't dip into it and I usually have to unload the last layer by hand.
Good topic.

I just throw it in the money clip along with the rest of it.

half of mine goes towards my "I want to go to Vegas in December during the NFR" fund, the other half towards gold and silver as a hedge against inflation.
I used to spend it all on finely-made firearms. Tragically I lost all of them when my beloved boat "The Dock Holliday" capsized.
Luckily beer cans float...
The price for shred here is currently a nice $0/Ton, so what do I spend the money on? No clue- I'll let you know when it's worth hauling it in

yeah matador, you are a bit isolated. Wyoming makes eastern SD look connected. When steel prices were up ad the Chinese buying scrap, do you think your yard shipped west along the I-80 or I-90 corridors to the Pacific? Or is there some end user on the West Coast that Wyoming scrap would furnish if they were busy...?
Right now , since im a rookie scrapper, I'm usuing the money for more tools and to fix up my ol' beater truck. I have a full time job outside of scrapping to pay for everything else I need.
Right now, all scrap proceeds are going into my wife’s business. She sells quilts made from recycled blue jeans. Also, her scrap metal t-shirts have been selling well, so soon, I can get back to buying tools and saving for a new-to-me Silverado.
