    Cool Victory at the Curb!

I was just sitting around today and decided to go curb shopping.. and was i right! Filled up the whole truck this evening. Got alot of heavy pipe, microwave, shop lights, lawn chairs, seed spreaders, etc! Not a bad day to be a scrapper!

Great Score.. Magnet Test that Set of Fireplace doors. They could be "Brass Coated Steel" as mine were in my house. Was sort of bummed on that one! Ceiling fans that look brass.. are the same.
I'm so into scrapping.. When my Steel Toe Boots Wear out, I cut the Steel out of them and recycle the Toe!

The tank looks like a pressure tank for a water well system. If so, it is pressurized but the pressure can be relieved through the valve on top. Also, the only thing that will be inside is water and a rubber diaphragm.

On your way man. I don't know what it's like around everyone else but just tonight I passed up 3 grills a water heater dehumidifier many chairs and that was only on one road of the neighborhood. So Dont stop curbco it gets you the money I just don't always have the time.

Hey Benny, do you have to cut that tank in half before turning it in? My yard won't take them whole.

Quick, man, get a seat cover for your back seat!! That truck is too nice to be bunging up the inside, too for scrap!!

Whats the little carb in the back seat out of? It kinda looks like a motorcycle-type carb but the cables are coming out of it on the wrong side.

I can't believe that you have 'curbco' in America. It simply dosen't happen in NewZealand. Never.

By me just need a hole in them as well. Only thing don't try and hit the valve with a hammer to knock it into the tank unless you are sure there is no pressure left. I had a bunch and one I guess I didnt make sure it was empty! Big blast of air!
