    Todays run, 720 Lbs of shred. The price dropped from 220 down to 210/Ton. Typical Oct pricing.

    I skipped last weeks run due to rain. Here is trips from yesterday and today
    Day 1, shred 760 lbs @ 210/Ton

    Shed trip.

    Pay out
    Alum cans 38lb @ .60
    #2 ins wire 44lb @1.23
    Yellow brass 15lb @1.60
    Alum sheet 64lb @ .42
    Cast alum 88lb @ .38
    Alum siding 24lb @ .60
    Stainless 36lb @ .45
    Elec motors 100lb @ .22
    Auto cast 43lb @ 290/Ton
    Total $220.08

    Your prices are pretty comparable to us here except we get creamed in the shred steel (1 place for miles & miles and we're at the end of the line for anybody using it for new stuff). Light steel dropped to $90/nt yesterday. Our insulated wire has two prices but to get up near what you made, it has to be heavier gauge. Everything else is 65 cents a pound.

    #2 Ins copper wire was always around .83, .88, or .90 a lb until another scrap yard opened and had better pricing. Now they are competitively pricing. There is another yard closer to me that will only pay .61 for #2 ins wire
