Be sure to ask the County Prosecutor if they will also tack on a trespassing charge as well. I would find out who the County Prosecutor is, as well as, which Deputy Prosecutor has these dirtballs case.
Ask to fill out a "Victim Impact Statement" This will be a piece of evidence that is written by YOU as a victim and I can tell you that this will make an impact when the judge reviews the case. In a former life I worked in the County Court System. And to see a Victim Impact Statement does a lot to show the judge how it personally impacted you.. and it becomes not about "stuff" but about the emotional toll it took on you having to go through the process of losing, finding and hunting down your own stuff.
