    Went to the scrapyard today

    well decided to go to the scrap yard today to make some money.
    what i got.
    96 grand prix 3,460#(tossed some scrap metal into it stuff that fit) so 3,460# @$205a ton=$354
    catalytic converters(3)
    (1) $79
    (2) $14
    (3) $61
    aluminum 35# @ 0.45 a lb=$15



    i thought at best $350ish. but boy was i surprised when i got a check for $524! not that i'm complaining lol.
    sure glad i hoard catalytic converters,aluminum,wiring,batterys

    That is a nice payday. It is also nice to get more than expected.

    shure is. i know i was forgetting something. till it came to me later that i forgot to load my aluminum cans! woops. oh well get them on my next trip no big deal.

    Something always gets forgotten and will be the start of the next load. It works like the starter or culture for yogurt or sour dough.
