    One last look

I cashed in well today $154 & was with my son
I fed him a nice burger at Arby’s (the papa Burger )

As I am heading home , I decide to look at one of the regular dumpsters .
My son goes - oh come on !!
I say sorry I never stop trying to find money !! thats it !!
Aside from seeing my 10 year old has no concept of money except to spend it
he did not share in the thrill of what I found 15 pounds of brass toilet parts
50 pounds of Al - steel - 5 quarts of engine oil . Tub of Joint compound @ 75% full
    and paint brushes .

Just goes to show just keep looking .

sounds like my mom complaining that she doesn't want me to get the inside of her car dirty or my dad complaining about broken glass and plastic chips in the lawn. It just kills me to see grown humans cry!

Make it a fun/teachable moment. Explain that 15 lbs of brass equals X amount of burgers.

No it was new castrol oil in plastic containers . There was one classic oil can (metal) Quaker State Oil still full .
The Castrol is OK for top offs .

Interesting what people throw away. I would have taken that in a heartbeat as well.

Copper Head, can you do a little more geographic narrowing of your location like "Northeast", "Great Lakes", "Upper Midwest", "Mountain States", "Canada"?? I know you have your reasons for keeping it vague but such sub-regions can give more geographic comparisons for folks and still leave lots of room to be anonymous from whom or whatever...
