Father-in-law finally let go of Commodores

He kept putting it off for the last two years, but finally gave in and let them go. He thought he would boot them up and play some old games. Just never has the time.

When I see old, yellowish plastic on computers I get giddy like a little school girl.

2 towers, 4 monitors, 2 TV's, 2 dot matrix printers and 3 1/2 drive, along with a box of wire, games and other stuff.

Last week I got my first corporate pick up which filled my truck and new "used" trailer. The company said they are moving in a few months and need to get rid of more stuff. This month has been really productive with pick ups and the trailer is helping immensely with larger appliances. I have been stock piling wire and other projects for winter slow down.

DO NOT SCRAP THOSE...you will throw money away. They sell on ebay for FAR FAR more than scrap. I just got $25 on a 128 untested...just the main computer.

If these work you will get even more. NEVER EVER scrap out a vintage computer before checking it's value even as parts...and sell everything...even a box.

jake3340- if you just tear stuff up you might as well set your money on fire. I can get almost $100 out of even older outdated servers...not even vintage because I take a small amount or time with it.

Just look up Flimits on here let her know what you have and see what she will offer. If she don't want them she will probably know someone who does.

If you can get an inventory of parts I might be interested in some of it, located in Youngstown, OH so shipping is cheaper then cross country.
