I'd make you pinky swear but...I don't have an internet pinky, so we'll just go with everyone else being a witness to this.

that door should be aluminum, just a few screws to remove.

That coil spring should be short steel/prepared steel

501 lbs price is right style lol
Currently looking for a job in or related to scrap/recycling. Relocation is possible for the right offer.

Ahh shiznig, matt just big boyd you scrapalot! and BTW the doors are steel (magnet approved lol) I'll put the coil in prepared but as a noob, why is it going there? Also I have a pile of automotive parts, cylinder heads, pumps, manifolds etc... is that a good idea?

its thick, heavy steel, and generally higher quality. minimum thickness and max size vary by yard, but springs like that should be accepted everywhere.

My yard here requires 1/4 or better for heavy steel, would the spring warrant that? Also, do you know if automotive parts warrant higher value? I figured they would due to being a higher grade of metal but I may be wrong.

if you have a lot automotive steel, you can sometimes get a better price. some of the yards by the ports have separate pricing for brake rotors and stuff like that.

is that spring less that 1/4 inch? if it is, show it to someone at the yard, they might take it anyway.

It's alright Fubar. I'll just make sure Matt is charged extra when he comes to raid my cooler.

Matt says.."Hey, Sirscrapalot, can I Have a beverage?"

Me says.."You can just leverite there in the cooler, mr 501lbs!"
