got hit with some bad luck

was doing good picking up junk vehicles. then boom my transmission went out. tach started jumping up 1,500 rpm, put it in reverse and making funny sounds in my 98 dodge ram V10 4x4. so now i'm out of work till it gets fixed! this week have to go to vegas for a wedding then when i get back should be time for truck to go in to the transmission shop. while they are doing a rebuild having them put in a shift kit while they have it apart and a better **** servo. help the transmission last little longer and take some stress off it. **** just when i was starting to make some decent money too.

but on other hand the transmission had close to 200,000 miles on it.
least it happened before winter got here though.

ya dodges are good trucks but will have to admit the transmissions some times are little less than desired. since i have to have the transmission rebuilt anyway im having the transmission shop do some modifications while they have it apart. having them put in a shift kit,shift servo and some other parts while they are rebuilding it anyway. may have them put a deep tranny pan on as well help keep things cool and lubricated under there.
