actually you don't need to "rewire" them...just buy an adapter there guys....and YES Ebay is where it would sell for that much.
Good score my man....I will post some goodies tomorrow that I got from my computer repair friend...here's a hint...old stuff pulled from WORKING machines...so should be still working...and that my friends generally is worth MORE THAN SCRAP to a collector.

I just sold a IBM M keyboard on ebay a couple of weeks back, 2 key caps were missing, but otherwise working (had a PS/2 connector) got $30 + shipping for it. A mint one should easily bring $40-50.

Any "clicky" keyboard has some value. The fact they are built to last and they appeal to gamers, collectors, etc. I've sold the only one I got on Ebay for around $75, if I remember right. The older the date the better. I cleaned mine up a bit, but considering I got it for free and it only took me an hour or so to clean, I consider that a good return. Your results and feelings may vary. Model M are good sellers, as well as the "space savers" with no number pad on the side. Man I wish I had a dozen of those bad boys.

Just a quick update on my loads. I worked on the appliances and have taken a few loads to the yards. First trip was for 720 lb at $ 57.00 and the second was for 200 lb. of appliance tin plus some nonferrous. That one was for $128.00 and I still have 4 units to break down and have not even touched all the electronic items. So far all I have invested is my time and some gas. It's a win-win.

Had 1 alum wheel, the floor freezer had SS and alum panels, old sheet alum, 28 lb of motors, 175lb of compressors, 15lb of rad's, 16lb of SS304, #2 copper 12lb.Originally Posted by DakotaRog

Just a quick follow-up. Took a steel/tin load plus nonferrous in to the yard (almost $75). Unloaded and cashed out only to get another call from the same good customer from Page 1. Picked up another truckload of scanners, copiers, printers, computer, etc. and no monitors. Gave him a few more cards. He told me that he appreciated the quick service. This customer just keeps giving.

Also after a few trips with my "new" old truck, I'm running to my yard which is about 12 mile each way and I can do that for $5. of gas. Maybe I can't haul as much as you guys but I'm sure doing it cheaper.

Do you have a plastic buyer? Or wuddya do with it?
I am beginning to run into a ...situation... in my garage. I have done a light search for plastic buyers in my area but haven't come across much. I don't want to just throw it away tho! I think once the second bin is full its time to really seek one out O.O

I got one but their 45 miles away. Have to take a large load or see if they'll bring me a roll-off.

You can put the Plastic in the recycling bins by me. They take any plastic. They call Computer, TV or any other electronic devices plastic, ridged plastic, that works for me! Can't get paid for it but still can get rid of it, and yes I have to pay about $17 a month for garbage and recycling pick up and twice a year bulky and brush item pick up.

Another quick follow-up on this same thread. Phone rings around noon and it's this same good customer. Has another pallet load of computers, big floor cooler, and a ceiling furnace for me in another round of their office clean-outs. Went up at 5pm and got this truckload (was supposed to be 10 on the pallet) turned out to be 17 and 1 dead monitor. I've made arrangements to have the rest out of there by Saturday.
There's your customer service. He makes one phone call and the rest is taken care of.
