    Maryland Scrappers

I put one item/container at a time on the scale and tell them what it is. for example- this is extruded aluminum. also take a notepad and write down items, weights, and tares. this may help keep them on their toes. I have been very fortunate to find a yard I trust and work together with. there are many times I will be bringing up my several carts and barrels of stuff and they will be weighing and emptying the first ones as I bring more up. you can also pre weigh items as well. they also use a touch screen computer system with all items and weights clearly visible.
