Get better soon pawpaw. I always enjoy your posts and was wondering where you were. I hope you at least had some good looking nurses while you were laid up.

Most of us now have staph colozined on our skin. Its not hard to get it into cuts and such. I'm glad the liquid mold juice has got the infection under control. The bugs are always in a race with us humans and sometimes they get ahead. Hopfeuly they don't stay ahead but they're always in the race...

I keep bandages in the truck and have pavodine iodine to kill any buggies. I like neosporin better, the iodine keeps better in the truck.

Rest well and take it easy for awhile. It takes time to get back into the full swing of things. If I'm in the hospital to many more times, I'm gonna start getting my mail there.

get well soon. There is the reason i always wear gloves. I have done the duct tape bandage many times in my normal job when i was still doing production and would get yelled at by my wife for doing it. I guess there are benefits to being married to a ER nurse practitioner that can prescribe drugs and also stitch you up when you do something stupid. Just she looks at me like you are a idiot when you get asked when did you do this and you answer about 8 hours ago with a beer in hand and a big smile.
