    rubber brass valvue stems

    Does anyone buy these?

    The yard near me does buy them as "dirty brass". I think the price is 15 cents per lb. (Correction: 75 cents per lb that was dirty aluminum price.)

    Wow, that is a horrible price. My yard also takes them as dirty brass, but we get 75 cents a lb for our dirty brass.

    Oh, my mistake, you're certainly right. My brain tied the dirty aluminum price to the "dirty" label. 75 cents is the price for them here also. Thanks for catching that.

    Do they buy them with the rubber still on them or do you have to remove it?

    If you remove the rubber and the valve stem then they would be clean brass! AS is Dirty brass by me (one place paying $1 a pound for Dirty Brass)

    Thanks.. I have about half a 3 gallon bucket full right now and will have more before I get down sorting my 1300 lbs of wheel weights.
