    I'm tired...but in a good way.

I've been working 70 hour weeks, I am a tired man. In addition I have a helper working part time who is working right now 40 hour weeks for me. I've also been extremely busy getting setup for a brand new category of ewaste for me.

The background is local pickups and some extra stuff from a fellow forum member.

Hard working truck, why hook a trailer up when the receiver rack will do.

Just a small fraction of the over 2500 hard drives I've got this month.

WoW!! Make sure there's time for the family if you have one. You can't get time back for the kids later...

    P.S. Nice looking shirt

2980 lbs computers, mostly workstations and severely out of date (end of life stuff...straight scrap) As you can see in the picture, UW Health is a client of mine, this came from their hospital. An entire room cleaned out, some computers had ten years of dust on them, I expect to find a pentium pro or two in this mix.

Small amount of battery backups this week and 44 laptops (some are in the box) from a SMF member, surprisingly the box shipped fedex for 38 bucks, he made an excellent profit. I will go through these and repair what I can and ebay the rest, none should go to waste stream unless they have bad motherboards.

Anyone in the market for tested good Dell GX755 and GX780s? All dual core, some are vPro, this also from a large health care software developer.

These are medical grade (anti-microbial plastic) touch screen dual core all in ones. I expect they will sell well on ebay. They are magnetically shielded, brand I'd have to look, I know it but can't think of it right this second.

Yea, I don't have much to do with my kids except my son. He works with me but really I am just trying to keep him out of trouble he's had some "growing pains" being a 13 year old.

Also thanks for the comment about my shirt. The truck is next

I feel ya Army, if I'm not working 51 hours at the yard I'm out looking for scrap. If I'm not working at the yard or out looking for scrap I'm breaking it down. If I'm not doing any of those 3 things I'm picking up scrap from my contacts. You get the picture lol. I get one and a half days off, those are spent picking up, breaking down or catching up on house/yard work.

    Meanwhile, things are piling up.

    Yeesh.

I agree, its a good tired, its hard work tired, its a job well done tired. *High five*

And today it goes on and on. I spent most of my day starting at 8 in the morning at VA hoping I could get out of there in an hour... at 2pm i had my prescriptions written (just needed refills...crazy I know) and was on my way to a customer downtown. Then while loading my truck was almost hit twice. So the owner graciously stood in front of it and glared at people as they peeled into the parking lot way way too fast. Go figure.

After that I had to make the fastest run ever to dump shred, 9,980 lbs of it. And finally I picked up a headache rack for the truck, after two windows in a year it's time. It's just set and clamped for now but tomorrow I will spend some time shimming it to center and bolting it in. Pictures will come tomorrow.
