    Cool HUGE Lawn Mower Haul

I was browsing my local CL today and spotted a post, 6 mowers + deck for $25. I couldn't pass it up. Drove 36 miles to get there, 36 miles back so about $15 worth of gas.. $35 total investment. Some mowers are in great shape, I could see making mega profits when the spring comes around. Some run and some dont. If the others are crap, i have my money back in cast aluminum blocks! Cheers

Great score Benny! Be sure to report back in the spring. I can see you at least tripling your money.

One thing to consider: there's more to your expenses than just the price of gas. You have to figure in wear on tires, oils changes, miles on your rig, etc. oh and your time too.

You probably heard all this before, but it is important, especially as you expand your business and get bigger. The bigger you get the more it costs!

Not trying to rain on your parade at all. You're gonna make great profit on that score!!!

I was off a mile (thought it was .55 a mile but actually $.56 a mile) for standard IRS deduction that includes the wear & tear (what they think) on a vehicle. So, 72 miles is $40.32 in mileage (Benny, you are claiming mileage on your taxes, right??). Good luck on your re-sales or scrap!!
