You're going to have to do some basic inventory of them to start off with. With me, I would separate into two categories to start off with to see what i have:
1. Working complete pentium 4 machines, all dual core and higher that aren't smashed up.
2. All the rest.
From there, there are several people that pay premiums for lots of the first set I described..might even include more than that.
What is to be done with the "all the rest?"
I currently have an Acer 2200 XP loaded. Works.. on CL and no nibbles at $30
Is this a "gut and go" scenario?

I don't think that would move very easily on craigslist...
Since it's just a single laptop, what I would do with it would be to put the charger, lcd screen, and hard drive on ebay. LCD screen is the least likely to sell, but worth tossing up because of the little effort. From there, I'd remove the ram (i'm guessing this is probably not worth selling), and then toss the rest into the scrap laptop pile.
That's just what I would do - take what you want from it.
I thought cash for computers was the guy here for that. I have a few dozen to dispose of.

I'm plugging myself a little early, but I have a buyers thread going up, and I will be paying a premium for some laptops.

No matter who you choose, you should sort them by make model, CPU, RAM, HDD, and if possible condition. Or just send pics.
Its loads like that can change your business direction. I agree with RyanW first classify what you have. Do the research to determine the ebay value. Mike
