It Finally Looks Like the Great White North

Woke up to about 10cm (4" for you imperialists) of that white crap that closes the doors to Curbco and locks me in the garage!

Still coming down too, but it is supposed to get warmer on the weekend. Fingers crossed. Really regretting not finishing up my pile of shred before it got buried

for me when it snows here in iowa its usually gets warmer to snow so its more enjoyable to work outside plus it limits whos out so I can dig through more trash at my own pace for cans and such as well

Same thing here in Eastern Maine. We've had a lot of rain lately. Finally got a six hour window of opportunity where it wasn't raining today. It gave me the chance to finish up an outside job that needed to be done before the weather turns cold.

We've been fortunate so far. We've had snow, but then the weather warmed up and it all melted out. That really shortens up the winter.

I went thru the Blizzard of '78 and a lot of years ago I moved to S.E. Kansas for awhile. I was working at a feed mill at the time and working 2nd shift. It was snowing (lol) and blowing but if you looked close you could still see the grass poking thru. I got into my truck and drove the 15 mile into work only to find out the foreman was the only one there. He looked kinda surprised and asked, "what the heck you doing here, I have people right here in town that are calling in". I simply stated that I was from Indiana and he commented that now he understood.
They actually were telling people to stay off the roads, that it was "near blizzard" conditions. I mentioned that you have not seen a blizzard yet. I thought it was extremely funny.

No snow here, but cold enough to chill my fingers on yesterday's ride. Tomorrow could be warmer, so I'll wait a bit for outdoor teardowns.
