Had to let one of my guys go on Christmas eve

The whole situation was getting out of hand. Myself and the kid(Cody he's 25yo)did pickups, dump runs, clean outs etc while Ron worked at the shop tearing down stuff. Ron came in about 11ish but stayed til 8 every night. Cody and I usually knock off at 5. When Cody wasn't running with me he was at the shop on tear down duty. Every Tuesday Cody and I haul in non ferrous to reno(I get the same price for tin and prepared in Carson so no point in taking it to reno). We go on Tuesdays because Ron has to pay his weekly rent on Tuesdays. Typically Ron takes off Tuesdays which is fine with me. My rule has always been that HE needs to come to ME to get his money. I won't chase him . Well Tuesday we were running a little late getting back from reno, Ron calls asks what's up, told him on the way stay at the shop I'll be there shortly. Showed up at the shop he's gone. So I left. Cody showed up Wednesday morning like normal 7:45. He wakes me up. I get up get moving. Do like normal take empty buckets back to the shop. Load trash take trash to the dump sell tin. Etc. Do a pick up from local auction house for my mom deliver it to her house. By this time its 10:30-11ish. Have Cody call Ron. He starts screaming and yelling at cody (can't say what he was yelling) but it wasn't nice. Basically he said he wasn't coming in til I brought him his money. I'd had enough at that point so I took him his money and told him to kick rocks. Gave him till next Wednesday to remove his stuff from the shop and my house. Sorry for the long story but needed to vent.
