    taking the plunge.

Decided after considerable research to get certified to recover refrigerants.
TV's have been a major source of my copper. With all the change in the air on regs I decided to stop dealing with them unless there is a fee attached to cover my cost plus a profit. I've always charged for CRTs but I would take many more free with other scrap.
It will be a bit of an investment, but I'll be able to start recouping immediately cause I've been hoarding all while I've been researching. Over 300 10,000 but or larger. Most larger. I feel confident, thanks to the many members here, that this will be profitable for me. As always any advice is appreciated.

Good luck. I have seen some fairly reasonable used recovery units on craigslist, and have been thinking about getting one. I do not have nearly the number of units you do (I have about 25 window AC units and 35 refrigerators & freezers stockpiled waiting to get refrigerant recovered). I have been looking to find an outlet here (DFW area) for the recovered gas, but have had no luck yet.

    Thanks,1956,
I've already have my budget in place. Going to go with two new system. Each on dedicated to separate refrigerants. Have a buyer in place for the refrigerant. And rest is just scrapping at max profit.
