    I agree about cutting the wire off of power supplies. Insulated wire is about as easiest money one can come by scraping. A lesson I taught to a young couple just yesterday! The yard has four grades of insulated wire, lowest grade Xmas lights and unprocessed wire (attachments/connectors left on), this is $.27 a pound. Cut the connectors off and it can become #2 for $1.08 a pound.
