You have three shots to go what.... four feet?

You have plenty of time, and a timeout left.

Give it to the man who grabs his pants!

Why would you throw it? What's wrong with you!?

That is how you beat yourself, by trying to "over play" what should have been a basic run play.

Yeah, I was cheering the fight on.

I'm a hockey fan at heart. What can I say?

I'll admit I was waiting for something spectacular to happen(like a touchdown from the other side )

I hear a lot of yak yak yak. Give credit where it is due . It was a great read and reaction by a young player who had just lost out a play seconds earlier. The kid showed moxy. This game was won by players making plays. GREAT GAME!!!

Go Pats! Great game, even though I had to watch it from my DVR. Good thing I live in Baltimore and my neighbors weren't watching the game.

I give those MEN all the credit in the world.....One of the hardest hitting games I have ever seen......The guy made a great play but I put that on Seattle's coaching staff......Worst call ever.......Of course I didn't play after high school and am an armchair QB so who am I to speak about what they were thinking..........Patriots are a gutsy tough football team I just don't care for Bellicheat or whatever his name is but he is a great coach and probably one of the hardest working men in the game.........One of the better super Bowls in a while and definitely better than last year......I really don't care for Seattle either but to watch BEAST MODE run the ball is a thing of beauty........I have seen all the greats on film and he is up there as far as I'm concerned......Wasn't sure until I really watched him game after game dominate grown MEN....LOL

This play.. This Loss.. will Haunt the Seahawks for DECADES to come!
Definitely should have given the run ball to "I'm just here so I don't get fined"
He could have said "I'm just here to run the ball over the goal line"

Had the pass been complete feedback probably would have been something to the effect...Pats had been doing a pretty good job containing the run but were probably expecting a run so Seahawks were just trying to keep them guessing.

Other explanation...You see the Good Lord is really a Broncos fan and if you ever have seen our Orange and Blue Sunsets over the Rookies you could believe that. Now he rarely intervenes but last night he baited them in with that Freakish catch and then lowered the Boom just to show them who's really in charge.

The NFL NEEDED a great game. Aaron Hernandez, Ray Rice, Adrian Peterson, defate-gate etc. it was a ****ty year for the NFL PR wise. I try not to pay any attention to pre-game or post-game stuff. The players are built up by the media as super-human but in the end we all have our faults.

I didn't care who won or lost last night except I had $10 on the Seachickens with my father in-law.

I long for the old days before they put panties on the QBs and there was no such thing as a Defenseless receiver. You ran a route over the middle and you were going to pay the price.

Oh well, I still love the NFL, even if it has become woos-ified.

Perfect example of that and how commercialized it's become was the picture they showed of the coin toss in the first Superbowl...two captains and a ref. Then they showed a pic of today's circus.

Agreed. Then how about the pre game Skittles shot (with Skittles mention by Al Michaels), couple of commercial breaks later, Skittles commercial!!! Then there was the Microsoft Surface shot... If anyone thinks those are coincidencidental think again. Those shots were paid for and on the producers format sheet for the game.

Don't even get me started on the halftime show lol.

My imagination or did the commercials seem regular? I mean, these companies pay millions of dollars for air time and didn't see anything short of normal commercials. Halftime felt rushed like nothing was planned out.

I'd have to say that this years commercials were about the most depressing I've ever seen. I have a B.S. in Marketing so watching the Superbowl commercials is a mandatory requirement.. was pretty disappointed and even bummed out at some of the breaks.. Dead Kids.. Domestic Abuse commercials.. wow- celebratory!!

Pjost you are 100% Correct.. they are called product placements. Watch ANY TV show and you will see how the advertisers adopted a "guerilla marketing" strategy in virtually every TV show on. It became all the rage in the 90's and hasn't let up since.. you can't avoid being sold if you are watching your show.. like you can get up and go get a snack when the show breaks for commercials!

Game was great, commercials sucked, and Katy Perrys outfit weren't skimpy enough. If you got it flaunt it !!!!

Man.. What is it with the NFL and their "Pumping?" Pumping crowd noise.. not pumping enough air into balls..
They should make all the athletes wear Reebok Pumps... You all remember those?? Never fortunate enough to own a pair myself.. but WHOOT!

You made me think of Chapelle in Men in Tights where he told everyone he needed to pump.
