I'm all loaded up and ready to go to the yard in the morning. I'm worried to see what the prices are going to be. Last time I went (Jan 10) it was 140 a gross ton. Also have some Non-Ferrous in the back of the car. I'll post the prices on Saturday. Just for fun guess the Ferrous weight hint the washer and one stove is full of stuff trailer is rated at 1500# max and I never over load.

My guess is 720lbs.
I took a load in Tuesday @ $150 per 2000lbs. I had around 700lbs. Can$.
CRTs today @ $0.08/lb. for a cool 737lbs.
Let me remind you can $ trading @ $0.79 per $1US today.

The white goods are not very heavy themselves and unless Keith filled the stove and washer with something that packs dense, like a few 5 gallon pails of computer screws, it won't be that heavy...
By the way, whats the long rectangular boxy looking thing on the side opposite the white goods? Kinda looks like it would make a good shop cupboard or something.

Here is the tickets for the load Patriot76 was close only off by 100. Elec motors went up from the last time it was .18
The long gray cabinet was an old empty server rack . I tried to sell it but IT guys at my office said it was an odd size that didn't fit any thing standard. The washer was full of elec motor cores and there was a water heater lay inside the old server.

The weight was close, but the amount of payout was off by a lot. I was expecting on the coast you would get double the amount we see in the interior. The minor separation in our prices tells me that old dude is the Wizard of Oz as the wicked witch of the west is casting a spell on scrap metal prices, Kansas and the U.S. Where is Todo (?) when you need him?
Yes I saw the original Wizard of Oz in black and white as a child. Anyone on the forum ever scrap a black and white T.V.?
